Make a Referral

If you’d like to refer a young person to one of our programmes, we welcome referrals from schools, youth services, social workers, charities, and community organisations. Please note: some placements can be funded if the young person is eligible for funding to cover their place, include funding details in the referral form so we can fast-track the application.

Referral checklist (what we need):

  • Young person’s name, age and preferred pronouns

  • Referrer name, organisation, job title and contact details

  • Reason for referral and any relevant support needs (EHCP, SEND, safeguarding concerns)

  • Funding eligibility / funder details (if available)

  • Consent from parent/carer (for under-18s)

Book Our 10-Session Programme

We deliver a tailored 10-session programme for schools, youth centres, and community settings. Sessions focus on self-esteem, online safety, resilience, and practical next steps (employability and mentoring). We can deliver in-person or virtually, adapt content for SEND needs, and offer subsidised places where funding is available.

Accessibility, safeguarding & support

We are a trauma-informed organisation and can adapt sessions for neurodiverse participants, young people with EHCPs, and those with additional needs. If there are safeguarding concerns, mark your message ‘URGENT’ and include the best way to contact you immediately.

Join our passionate team and make a real difference in the lives of young people from marginalised communities. Whether you have experience or simply a desire to help, volunteering with Proud to Be Me CIC is an opportunity to support, empower, and uplift girls, trans youth, and non-binary individuals facing challenges such as exploitation, low self-esteem, and social exclusion.

Roles include mentoring, outreach, event support, and community engagement. All volunteers receive training and will work alongside our diverse, trauma-informed team committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces.
