Employment Pathways
This qualification supports entry into the world of work by developing essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Participants are better equipped to pursue job opportunities across a variety of sectors.
Vocational Training
For those interested in practical, career-focused learning, the qualification can lead directly into vocational training programmes and apprenticeships. These pathways allow learners to gain hands-on experience while continuing to build industry-relevant skills.
Improved Engagement in Education
Participants often develop a more positive attitude towards learning. By building confidence and experiencing success, they are more likely to stay engaged in education and continue working towards their goals.
Increased Confidence and Independence
Beyond academic and career outcomes, the qualification helps individuals grow personally. Learners build self-confidence, resilience, and independence—key qualities that support success in all areas of life.

We also deliver a range of practical life skills and personal development workshops designed to prepare young people for adulthood, independence and everyday situations. Topics include healthy relationships and consent, understanding marriage and long-term commitment, coping with grief and loss (including conversations around wills and planning), drugs, alcohol and drink-driving awareness, and personal safety. We also support young people to build confidence in everyday life skills such as speaking professionally on the phone, booking appointments, communicating with people with additional needs, hotel bookings, attending medical appointments, and managing personal administration. Additional workshops cover travel preparation, passport applications, currency exchange, public transport confidence, and learning about the process of learning to drive. Our sessions are delivered in a supportive, trauma-informed and engaging way, helping young people develop confidence, independence and real-world readiness.
