Proud to Be Me CIC is a growing community organisation working across education, alternative provision, employability, hair and beauty, community programmes and specialist prevention-focused support.

Our paid opportunities can vary depending on our programmes, commissioned work and funded projects. Roles may include employment, freelance, self-employed, sessional, consultancy and short-term project opportunities.

We look for people who bring more than qualifications alone. Depending on the role, we value professional expertise, safeguarding knowledge, lived experience, creativity, cultural understanding and the ability to build positive relationships with the people and communities we support.

Opportunities may be available across areas including Future Pathways Learning, our Hair & Beauty Department, work experience and employability, community programmes, LGBTQ+ infrastructure, administration and operations, fundraising, communications, outreach and programme delivery.

Some roles involve working directly with young people and adults who may have experienced trauma, SEND, school avoidance, exclusion, discrimination or exploitation. Appropriate safeguarding checks, references, qualifications and/or an Enhanced DBS may therefore be required depending on the position.
