Who we support

Our Priority Prevention & Early Intervention
Our priority is to intervene early, build protective factors and create safer pathways for young people before challenges escalate.
A key focus of our work is the prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and County Lines and criminal exploitation, alongside reducing the wider factors that can increase a young person’s vulnerability to harm, disengagement and poor outcomes.
We primarily support girls and young women, trans girls and LGBTQ+ young people, including those who are neurodivergent, have SEND or an EHCP, are care-experienced, are struggling with confidence, identity, emotional wellbeing or engagement with education, or may be at increased risk of exploitation, exclusion or becoming NEET.
Our Approach
Our approach is trauma-informed, identity-affirming, creative and relationship-based. We recognise that what is happening for a young person cannot always be understood by looking at behaviour alone.
Trauma, relationships, identity and belonging, discrimination, confidence, unmet needs and previous experiences can all influence how a young person feels, engages and responds to the world around them.
We focus on understanding the young person, not simply managing the presenting issue.
Through trusted relationships, accredited learning, practical experiences and creative arts embedded throughout our work, we create opportunities for young people to express themselves, understand their experiences, develop confidence and resilience, build healthier relationships and strengthen the skills they need to make safer, more informed choices.
Our aim is not only to respond when something has gone wrong, but to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence, identity, relationships and opportunities that can help prevent harm in the first place.
