Impact

Over the last three years, Proud to Be Me CIC has reached 2,000+ people, supported 500+ young people, delivered 22+ programmes, held 14+ community days and events, trained 70+ professionals, and worked with 50+ organisations and partners. We support women and girls, SEND and LGBTQ+ young people, professionals, parents, families and communities, with prevention of VAWG, County Lines, exploitation and exclusion embedded throughout our work. Our newest focus is Future Pathways Learning, our specialist Alternative Provision and Preparation for Adulthood offer, alongside our Work Experience & Employability Pathway and Hair & Beauty Department, a fully managed vocational department that we bring into Alternative Provisions, schools and specialist settings, providing practical hair and beauty learning, qualifications, industry experience and progression opportunities. Delivered by trauma-informed practitioners, safeguarding professionals and people with lived experience, we create opportunities for young people who may have struggled to access or remain engaged with traditional education and employment. We do things differently, creating another pathway when the usual pathway hasn’t worked.
