Safeguarding & Policies
At Proud to Be Me CIC, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and sits at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive and trauma-informed environments for children, young people and adults, particularly those who may be experiencing SEND, exploitation, VAWG, discrimination, trauma or other vulnerabilities. Our staff, practitioners and volunteers work within clear safeguarding procedures, professional boundaries and reporting pathways, with concerns responded to promptly and escalated to the appropriate safeguarding services where required. Our organisational policies provide the framework for safe, consistent and accountable practice across our Alternative Provision, programmes, work experience, employability, Hair & Beauty Department and community activities. Below you can access our key policies and safeguarding information, including how to raise a concern or contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
